I know it’s early to be thinking about Christmas.
Also, it’s not early.
The holiday season is barrelling toward us like a freight train and I’ve decided I can stare at it like a deer in headlights, or climb aboard and enjoy the process.
I’ve pulled together a series of holiday gift guides, with ideas for a broad range of age groups and interests (men! women! teen girls! tween boys! readers! gifts for the home!). I’ll be sharing them periodically over the next few weeks.
I’ve rounded up more than 185 gift ideas, almost all of which we own, have purchased, or have given as a gift. In other words, these are products we know, love, and genuinely recommend. (The only exception is an upcoming “On My Radar: guide, which includes highly recommended items I haven’t personally used.)
Whether you’re shopping early or looking for a last-minute idea a few months from now, I hope you find something practical, thoughtful, or just plain fun.
I’ll be updating this page as each new gift guide goes live, so feel free to bookmark it and check back for more ideas!
A quick note about affiliate links: Most links in these gift guides are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through them, at no additional cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. (Thank you for supporting Optimistic Musings!!)
That said, I’m also a HUGE fan of thrifted gifts, secondhand finds, and getting a great deal. So while I’ve included affiliate links (alas, no magic fairies are paying me to run this blog so ads and affiliate links are my only source of moolah), I will cheer you on enthusiastically if you can find any of these items at a thrift store, an online marketplace/Buy Nothing Group, or deeply discounted somewhere else. A great gift doesn’t have to come with a big price tag (or be purchased through one of my links)!
