Stocking stuffers are some of my favourite gifts to buy (and receive!). I love finding little things that are genuinely useful and/or a bit unexpected.
Today I’m sharing 15 stocking stuffer ideas for women. As with all my gift guides, these aren’t random products I’ve pulled from other lists. These are all items I own (or very close equivalents), use regularly, and wholeheartedly recommend.
There are a few beauty favourites, some practical household things, a card game I enjoy playing, and a sweet treat. Some are inexpensive, others cost a bit more, but all of them are small enough to tuck into a Christmas stocking.

Whether you’re shopping for your wife, mom, sister, daughter, friend—or looking for a few ideas to add to your own Christmas wish list—I hope you find some inspiration here!

1. Dutch Blitz | $10
Dutch Blitz is a fast-paced card game. I’m competitive, and I love the crazy chaos of it all.
If you’re planning to play with a larger group, make sure you buy an expansion pack or multiple sets. You can distinguish identical card colour/suit combinations by adding a small marker (like an asterisk) to one set. That way, if multiple people are playing with yellow barrel cards, for example, it’s easy to tell them apart.
2. e.l.f. Blending Brush | $7
This blending brush is my favourite makeup brush I’ve ever owned.
It’s so versatile! I use it for applying concealer (I use a Maybelline Lifter Stix), applying my e.l.f. Halo Glow, and blending in blush after I’ve applied it with a blush brush. (This is the blush brush I use, and this is my favourite blush in the shade Suave Mauve.)
3. Essie Gel Top Coat | $10
I paint my nails about once a week at home.
For a while, I was a devoted user of Seche Vite. It has a cult-like following, and it’s great. BUT… it gets thick very quickly. (You can buy special thinner to solve this problem, but having to “fix” something when the bottle was only partially empty wasn’t appealing to me.) It also causes shrinkage/tightening (a known issue, but it continued to happen even when I floated the top coat and applied it while the base colour was still wet).
I have none of those issues with the Essie Gel Top Coat.
It’s sooo shiny, goes on smoothly, dries quickly, and my at-home manicures typically last a full week, even with heavy wear and tear.
Very much recommend!
4. Heated Eyelash Curler | $17
I have flat, straight eyelashes, and I hate, hate, hate curling them. But if I want my mascara to do anything, they must be curled.
For years, I heard about heated eyelash curlers. And for years, I continued hating my old-school curler.
No more. I am officially a convert.
I bought this exact model, but there are other varieties with different designs (like this). The one I bought has three heat settings, a warning alarm, and a digital temperature display.
It curls my eyelashes so well, and after I’ve applied mascara, they stay in place all day.
WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?!
5. Macramé Plant Hanger | $10 (2-pack)
I have multiple macramé plant hangers like this.
They’re delightfully retro (my grandmother used to have homemade ones like this in her living room), but they’re also practical and highly functional.
They’re a great way to add greenery to a room without taking up precious counter or shelf space.

6. Continuous Spray Bottle | $7
I saw these continuous spray bottles at my hairdresser’s years ago and have wanted one ever since.
Last Christmas, it went on my wish list, and John and Belle came through.
It lives on my bathroom counter (which is saying something, since I tend to like putting as much away as possible). One pull of the trigger produces a continuous, light mist for a couple of seconds, which is great if you need to dampen your hair or mist your plants.
Such a simple little upgrade, but I never want to be without a continuous spray bottle again!
7. Shower Cap | $7
Speaking of hair…
I have long, thick hair and absolutely hate dealing with it.
Sometimes I avoid showering because I don’t want to get my hair wet and have to deal with the hassle of drying and styling it. BUT, most of the time, I just toss it up in a shower cap.
After years of using shower caps, I can confirm they are not all created equal.
These are my absolute favourites. I own two (one for each shower in our home), and I use them frequently enough that one came with me to Europe.
They have excellent elastic (but it’s not too tight; it’s just right) and are extra roomy, so I can toss my hair up in a bun without the cap riding up the back of my head. If you have a lot of hair, you know how important this is!
8. Sleep Mask | $16 (2-pack)
I know I’ve talked about these sleep masks before on the blog, but they are a STAPLE in our house.
Belle and I each wear one every night, and I always bring extras when we travel because sometimes John and Indy want them, too.
I’ve tried a lot of different sleep masks over the years, and these are my favourite.
They have extra padding and recessed eye areas so they won’t crush false eyelashes. For those of us who never wear false eyelashes, they’re still amazing! There’s no pressure on your eyelids while you sleep.
I can’t imagine sleeping without one.
9. Mesh Beach Tote | $8
This is a versatile mesh bag—with all sorts of handy compartments—that I’ve owned for years.
Sand falls right through the fine mesh, so it’s great for taking to the beach, but I use it in other settings, too.
There’s a plastic, waterproof zippered pouch where I can store my keys and phone when we’re near water.
Practical, lightweight, and easy to pack.
10. UNbrush Detangling Brush | $18
Okay, we’re back to hair again.
I have long, thick hair that gets tangled easily. I have tried so many hairbrushes over the years. SO MANY.
And this is my favourite of all time.
Belle and I both use these brushes exclusively. If mine broke tomorrow (I’ve owned it for more than three years, and it still looks exactly the same as the day I bought it), I would replace it IMMEDIATELY.
Note: These brushes feel very flimsy. My first thought was that they couldn’t possibly be high quality. But they’re just incredibly lightweight! They’re amazing at removing tangles and can be used on wet hair, in the shower, or while blow-drying because they don’t cause static.
Again, my favourite brush of all time!

11. Thank-You Cards | $10
I always like to have a stash of pretty thank-you cards on hand.
I particularly like the options from Saltzer and Orange, and these cards are lovely.
12. Satin Scrunchies | $7 (4-pack)
Am I obsessed with hair?
I feel like I am constantly dealing with it, and satin scrunchies are a fashionable and practical addition to any hair routine.
They don’t leave the same harsh creases as regular elastics, they look nice, and they’re practical.
What’s not to love?
13. Lazy Susan Makeup Organizer | $9
I found my rotating makeup organizer secondhand, and I wish it had a brand name on it so I could link to it specifically, because it’s amazing.
But I’m hoping this seemingly comparable one will be great, too.
I’ve stored my makeup in a drawer and in various clear dividers on the counter before, but having it organized in a Lazy Susan-style setup is a game-changer for me!
Everything is easy to see, easy to access, and easy to put away.
14. Velvet Hangers | $15 (30-pack)
We have a lot of these velvet hangers, and I feel like I can never have too many.
I use them for most of my dresses, any wide-shouldered tops, and all our coats and jackets. John and I also use them for any pants that we hang up in our closet (in our case, all non-workout pants).
They’re a little upgrade that makes a closet feel more organized, but they’re practical, too, since things don’t slip!
And because they’re slim, they don’t take up as much space as bulky plastic hangers.
15. Andes Chocolate Mints | $6 (78 g)
You’re either going to love this final addition to my list or think I might as well wrap up a tube of toothpaste for you to eat.
I happen to love the combination of chocolate and mint, and Andes Chocolate Mints are my absolute favourite in terms of the mint flavouring and the filling-to-chocolate ratio.
Note: In Canada, at least, you can often find little bags of these at Dollarama.
And there you have it—15 stocking stuffer ideas for women!
I hope this list gives you some inspiration for your Christmas shopping.
(As always, I highly recommend checking secondhand stores, too. You never know what treasures you might find! Some of my favourite everyday items have come from thrift stores.)
