- Completed a NYT Crossword puzzle.
- Seen an ancient wonder of the world. (I’ve seen the Colosseum which is on the list for modern wonders of the world.)
- Driven in a Tesla, McLaren, Bentley, or Lamborgini.
- Visited Radio City Music Hall.
- Watched an episode of Real Housewives.
- Gone on a safari.
- Attended an antiques auction. (In general, antiques do not appeal to me.)
- Followed a No-Poo hair-washing method.
- Lost an adult tooth (not counting wisdom teeth).
- Been in the audience of a live TV show taping.
Your turn.
- What’s your score on my Never Have I Ever list?
- What’s your favourite reality show? I don’t watch any these days, but I used to LOVE The Amazing Race.
- If you’ve been on a safari, in which country?

Ooh, interesting list!
1. I’ve completed the mini, does that count?
3. Not driven a Tesla myself, but I’ve sat in one to be driven around?
8. Experimented when I was younger. It’s too much hassle for my hair.
9. 4 molars – I didn’t have enough space for all my teeth if I wanted them non-crooked
10. Does that imply you have been in the audience of a non-live tv show taping ? Is live meant as on air while being recorded? Or live as in, they are recording while you are there? I’ve not been in either, but my hands are in a Belgian kids’ music video (in the audience somewhere). And I’ve been at televised sports events.
Well, I haven’t done a full OR mini.
I’ve never been inside a Tesla for any reason.
I haven’t been in the audience for any TV show recording.
Ha. I love the specificity of your hands being in a music video 🙂
I’ve only sort of done #1 and #10. I have done NYT mini and midi crosswords, and at sone point in the past probably did the paper version of the regular one. I was on a kids quiz shoe in high school that was taped and aired on a local TV channel- so not the audience and not really major TV.
So half credit on two- 1 point.
My adult dental efforts are to make sure none of these teeth go anywhere- to make up for my neglect on my y I uth! Crowns but no removal.
I love people giving half credit (and then adding that together). Haha!
I first had to google the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World to check what was even on the list! And yes, the pyramids are the only ones that can still be seen today, and we went to see them.
But I have never done the NYT crossword either! I think I tried once, but it was a real struggle.
Of the items on the list, which one would you like to do next? (not including the loss of an adult tooth, obviously! 😅)
The pyramids are definitely on my list!
I think it would be fun to drive in a Lamborghini with Indy. He LOVES cars, so the thrill would be overwhelming for him. A safari sounds pretty fun, too!
I think I have watched half an episode of Real Housewives, it’s not for me and I have been to an antiques auction. My brother is a collector.
I find people who collect antiques fascinating but have ZERO desire to do it myself. I have watched some episodes of auction assessment shows and it can be insane how much items just collecting dust in someone’s attic are actually worth.
Most are also on my “never have I ever” list. I’ve been to the odd auction here and there. I love old stuff! And I have a tooth implant – expensive and took forever to install. We’ve finished the Globe and Mail Christmas crossword a couple of times, as a group. Back in NS for Shannon and family’s visit July 18 to 25th. Not looking forward to the drive – for us and for Charlie!
Ohhh! Maybe I’ll see you at some point. Safe travelling; a long drive from Ontario is not particularly fun, but I hope the weather cooperates and the views driving through parts of Quebec are particularly gorgeous…
You and I are polar opposites on the NYT! i do the full crossword, mini, and now midi everyday. The good news is that we can still be friends. I’ve been to Radio City Music Hall.
Things that I have tried and failed: watching Real Housewives and going no-poo. I’m happy for people who like RH and who can have nice hair without shampoo, but their ways are not my ways.
Everything else on the list is a never have I ever.
Wait. YOU DO THREE CROSSWORDS EVERY SINCE DAY?? Birchie. That is insane.
Yes only to #1 and 10! Back in my 20s, I used to do the NYT crosswords daily, and I definitely completed plenty of the earlier week ones- NEVER a Sunday. NYT Sunday crosswords are impossible.
Growing up, there was a local show called “Bozo’s Circus”. Like most kids, I got the chance to go and be in the audience with my class (( think it was fifth grade?) That show was actually filmed and aired live every day.
LIke Catrina, I was going to look up the wonders of the ancient world, but then I figured if I have to look it up, i definitely haven’t seen any.
I am hopeless at crosswords. And they make me feel very stupid, if I’m being honest!
My brother’s nickname for me is Bozo… I should look up some YouTube videos of the show and show it to him. And maybe I’ll spot mini Jenny.
My friend Kristy was on Bozo (maybe third grade? fourth?) and she WON the grand prize bucket game. SHE WAS FAMOUS AT OUR SCHOOL. She’s still famous to me.
I have never heard of this show before today and now TWO bloggers have been/know someone on the show??
Also, all the LOL at “she’s still famous to me.”
1. Yes – but only with the autochecker on which is kind of cheating but hey, it’s not an exam.
2. Nope and none are something that is a high priority for me to see (I had to google the list)
3. I’ve rode in many Teslas. A lot of sales reps have Teslsas, especially those in CA.
4. I went to The Christmas Spectacular in January of 2004 when I visited some friends from NY that I met when I studied abroad in Australia!V
5. Yes and I’d like that time back. That show is not for me.
6. No, and it’s unlikely to happen as it’s not something Phil is super keen to do.
7. Heck no and would prefer to never do this. Phil, on the other hand, loves antiques. He loves to watch The Antique Roadshow which bores me.
8. Nope. I sweat too much.
9. Fortunately, no.
10. Nope!
I think it would be so fun to be in NYC over Christmas. Definitely on my “must do” some day list.
I haven’t done any of these things as an adult, although my father would sometimes force me to an antique auction when I was a child. I do not remember that particularly fondly!
I think I’d be bored as an adult, let alone as a kiddo. I suspect your memory is correct that it was no very fun.
My score is 1/10. I’ve done none of these things except for (reluctantly!) driving in a Tesla (because a lot of Uber/Lyft drivers have Teslas, for some reason).
I haven’t taken a lot of Ubers/Bolts, but enough that I’m surprised I haven’t ended up in a Tesla yet. Indy would be a lot more impressed by a Lamborghini 🙂
The only thing I have done is ride in a Tesla. It was a few months ago. It was weird. The wipers went anytime it senses a piece of dust coming on the windshield. We went to the mountains and it knew when to shift or brake. I didn’t trust it!
Too many bells and whistles, my dad would say 🙂
I haven’t done any of those either; except for completing a NYT crossword puzzle. I pick up the Sunday times each week specifically to get the Sunday (the hardest day) crossword.
I am very sure I couldn’t handle the EASIEST day of the NYT crossword, so colour me impressed 🙂
Love this list! I am with you on ALMOST all of them. (I did have to look up the ancient wonders; I’ve been to Stonehenge and for a second couldn’t recall if it was an ancient wonder, but it is not. I would LOVE to see the pyramids, though.) I cannot recall if I’ve ever completed an NYT crossword; they are definitely challenging. The only ones on your list I for sure HAVE done are watching Real Housewives (I used to love that show, especially RHoNY) and I have been in a studio audience twice: for Good Morning America and for Jeopardy!
I reject the No-Poo hair washing method purely because I refuse to accept “poo” as a reasonable alternative to “shampoo.” Poo is excrement. I didn’t realize I felt so strongly about this until this very second.
YOU’VE BEEN TO JEOPARDY??? How cool!!!!!
Poo is excrement… haha. Also, fair point. And my hair would be so gross. I’m low maintenance but not THAT low maintenance 😉
Am I the only person who had to Google No-poo hair-washing method? Have I been living under a rock? Anyway, that is NOT for me. I love the feeling of shampoo!!
What I’ve done: NYT crossword puzzle (only the mini, though), driven in a Tesla (one of my friends has one and it was actually very fun to drive around in it during the holidays because you could set your turn signal to do bell chimes!), and I was in the audience when they were taping Jim Gaffigan’s Netflix special, does that count?!
That signal does sound very festive.
I’m definitely counting it re. Jim Gaffigan!
I’ve never done any of those either, unless you count an auction I went to with my grandparents as a kid…might have been antique one. And we did go on a safari-like thing when in West Africa, but I don’t think it counts. It was more like a big open zoo and they’d drive you around. All the big animals people go to see are on the other side of Africa.
I had to look up the Ancient Wonders Of The World, and nope, I’ve not seen one!
I am not great at crosswords, so nope on that too.
I test-drove a Tesla years ago, and it wasn’t for us, although I think they’re pretty nice.
No safaris for me, but I do watch a few of the Real Housewives franchises… they usually make me laugh.
