This is more of a public service announcement than a blog post but, technically, it is the first post at my new web home: The Optimistic Musings of a Pessimist.
Cue jazz hands, confetti, and a rainbow of gold stars.
Celebrations aside, things are a bit rough around the edges and it has been a steep learning curve to get back on my feet in a new blogging environment.
Thanks in advance for your patience as I slowly work out various kinks and get back into a more regular blogging schedule.

Life has been crazy and as a result I haven’t been nearly as good about keeping up with commenting on other blogs! Don’t feel bad at all!

I read your old blog for some time and found your new blog through other bloggers. I don’t know if you were able to recover your blog? But it just occurred to me that your posts live on in the RSS reader app I use (Feeddler). Your previous blog and posts show up under the list of blogs I follow. When i click on a blog title I can read the entry but obviously clicking on the title doesn’t open a webpage. I don’t know if you already know this but I figured it could be helpful if you don’t.
