We left Helsinki yesterday, which launches us into a whirlwind of exploring various countries via a wide range of transportation methods: an overnight cruise ship, a long-distance high-speed train, car, public transport (bus, subway, ferry), and plane.
There’s no set timeline for my little break—maybe a week, maybe more. And I’m only officially calling it a bloggy break because I tend to get concerned e-mails and texts (which is very sweet!!!) if I stop posting for a few days without any formal announcement.
I realize this makes me a MayBloPoMo dropout… but I suspect the world will keep spinning on its axis.
Talk soon <3

The world will keep spinning, but we will miss you! It all sounds amazing, and you know we can’t wait to hear all about your adventures when you return!!!
Thanks, friend <3
It is pretty remarkable that you have been able to blog as often as you have with all the interruptions, changes, sicknesses, disrupted schedules. Thank you for keeping us all up to date!
Enjoy your break! And thank you for letting us know, because I know I’d be worried!
Engie posted that it’s your birthday today! Happy Birthday! I hope you’re having a fabulous day! Maybe with some quiet ‘me time’ and a cup of tea?
Hopping over from Engie’s blog to wish you a wonderful happy birthday! I wish you the very best day and year!
Thanks to Engie for spilling the beans that it’s your birthday! Happy, happy birthday Elisabeth! May it be fun and full of adventure – and time to introvert too!
I hope you have a glorious birthday, wherever you are!!!
I wanted to check in here and wish you a happy birthday and many, many more. Engie wrote a very nice post celebrating you today, so I wanted in on the party!
