And just like that…it’s December.
We’ve had snow (and a snow day!) and it is very much beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Right now, everyone else is in bed and I’m starting this post after my bedtime because there has been no other good time to write! But it all feels very cozy because I have a Yule Log channel playing on the TV and some Christmas lights twinkling within view.
Of all the things I write in the span of a week (blog posts, grocery lists, endless e-mails), this post is my absolute favourite to prepare. It feels like merging onto a well-worn neural highway by this point. A weekly pause to detail all the Happy Things in life.
If you have the chance, I hope you can settle into a cozy chair with your phone or laptop, wrap your hands around a warm cup of something delicious, and let this post inspire you to reflect on your own Happy Things!
First up:
LIVE NATIVITY
This was the 10th Live Nativity event our church has hosted and I am honoured to have been able to participate as a volunteer. This year was the biggest production to date and there were over 200 people helping out—from actors and singers to tech crews and traffic managers to prop teams and costume helpers. There were kids and teens and adults and senior citizens. It was a great group and so much fun.

John was a Roman solider in charge of the soldier training stall. It was highly interactive and he had everyone in stitches (as he does); Indy and a friend were novice soldiers in the same stall and had a great time. Belle and a friend were in charge of checking tickets. While the rest of my family was outside freezing their tushies off all night…
I was inside under the bright lights singing my little heart out (and slowly melting from the heat of the spotlights) as part of the angel choir.

Meet Willie Nelson, the bunny who stole the hearts of over 1,000 people last weekend, including my own kiddos. He was utterly adorable and the most docile pet bunny I have ever seen. It was his birthday this week and he turned four.

And Gertrude—affectionately known as Gertie—was the sweetest pygmy goat you could ever hope to meet. She was fascinated by the zipper on my coat and Indy kept begging for “one more minute” to play with her.

While tickets for the show were free, there was a suggested donation of $10 to our local community food bank and the event raised over $8,500!
HOSPITALS
A close friend of one of our kids had a bad case of appendicitis (the appendix ruptured, resulting in a nasty infection that required a lengthy hospital stay).
On Sunday, after church, we drove into Halifax for a visit and I kept thinking about how grateful I am for our proximity to a major children’s hospital. What a blessing to have it so accessible.
I’m thankful for doctors and nurses and all the staff that helped in this particular situation (the friend is home after almost two weeks) and for a family-centric hospital that prioritizes keeping parents with the kids while they’re recovering.
SUPPER AT MOM AND DAD’S HOUSE
My parents hosted us for a meal on Monday night. Homemade Mac n’ Cheese (Mom’s is Belle’s favourite), cucumber salad, and squash bread (delicious) with homemade lemon pie for dessert. And, Mom sent leftovers home with us which Belle was able to take for lunch the following day.
PICKLEBALL
For the last few years our church has hosted pickleball two nights a week. I didn’t know how to play and didn’t have any real interest in going.
Last week, while we were at church for the all-hands Live Nativity dress rehearsal, John and Indy ended up finishing early. When I checked my phone at the end of the practice, there was a message from John:

For some reason, when I saw:“I’ll explain later.” I just assumed it was a worst case scenario. A kid threw up. Or had an epic meltdown. Or someone got hurt and they had to go home to get First Aid supplies. (IT LITERALLY SAYS I’M A PESSIMIST IN MY BLOG TITLE. THIS IS HOW MY MIND WORKS.)
So when I wandered down to the gym, I was extremely relieved to discover my husband and son playing pickleball. Turns out they went home to get into exercise gear. Phew.
That’s all it took for those two to catch the bug. This Monday (after supper with my parents) the three of us headed back to the church gym (Belle latched onto the opportunity to be home alone). It was so much fun. I am, by far, the least athletic of the three of us—and it showed—but it was lots of fun and I can’t wait to go again next week.
A FUN SNOW DAY
We had a snow day on Wednesday and, overall, it was pretty great. I have a love/hate relationship with snow days and it depends what I have to do in the course of that day and the state of everyone’s moods how I end up feeling.

Indy spent much of his day outside with friends. I ended up hosting three of the kids who were playing in our yard for lunch and then I promptly sent everyone back outside.

Belle went for a walk to get some fresh air, but there is a major difference in snow days now that she’s a teenager: it provides extra time to catch up on homework. At least she had a nice view. (She has a desk in her room and the dining room table open behind her, but she elected to sit in front of the tree; can’t say I blame her.)
TAXES
Okay, the happy thing is not taxes (although Belle and I had a long discussion for a school project she was doing about taxes and national pension plans and the like; while I don’t love paying taxes, at my core I am very thankful for publicly funded schools, civil infrastructure, and universal healthcare here in Canada!).
Anyhoo.
Paying taxes isn’t fun, but that’s not the worst thing about taxes for me. The worst thing is all the paperwork and management.
And, since we own our own business, I have to manage it personally AND corporately. We have an accountant to do the heaviest lifting, but nothing makes me more anxious than all the loose ends as tax season approaches.
Unfortunately, there are still plenty of loose ends BUT I made the final corporate and personal tax instalment payments this week. It took quite a bit of time to get everything sorted but it took less time than I expected which felt like a win.
But the biggest win was discovering the tax instalment was $4,000 less than expected. That is not an insignificant amount of savings and I was shocked and delighted!
FINANCES
Speaking of taxes, we had all sorts of year-end financial things to handle. We needed to move money into the kids registered education savings plans to better maximize government kickbacks (there’s a 20% return in Canada, up to a lifetime amount of $7,200). We needed to contribute to our RRSPs—essentially the Canadian equivalent of a 401(k)—for tax kickbacks. And we needed to update some financial tracking spreadsheets.
Done, done, and done.
BLOG FRIEND BOOK NEWS
There is so much book news to share and I am absolutely thrilled for each of these friends!

- Nicole recently shared the cover of her upcoming book release Inhale, Exhale. Isn’t it gorgeous???

- Speaking of book covers, Laura Vanderkam unveiled the look for Big Time (out May 5th). I love it!
- A familiar cover is already making waves on Amazon! SHU’s upcoming book Best Laid Plans (out December 16th, but available for pre-order) made it into the Editors’ Picks for best nonfiction books for December.

- Speaking of Amazon publicity, my friend Jean’s book—Chester’s Miracle, a delightful Christian novella I truly loved reading—is working its way up the religious romance list!!

BONUS HAPPY THINGS
- Polar Ice gum.

- I mentioned this book on Tuesday in my book reviews for November, but I wanted to reiterate how much I enjoyed Rediscovering Christmas. It’s a simple, accessible—yet incredibly insightful—Christian resource for the holidays. Highly recommend!

- I have long been fascinated by advent candles from Denmark and other countries in Europe. Last Christmas, when my brother came (bringing theirs with them!) from Denmark, I asked him to bring me a small stockpile. Not surprisingly, I was elated to finally get to light my very own advent candle!

- I gifted one of those candles to Joy and my heart was very happy to get this picture from her on December 1st.
- Chicken Mango Curry over lime rice with mini Naan on the side. So good!
- Leftovers.

- Salad. I want crunch (roasted chickpeas), something sweet (grapes), something tangy (dill pickles), something soft (avocado and tomato); this salad had all those things and was fresh and delicious.

- One of my favourite times of the day (in the winter) is when I pull down blinds, draw the curtains, and start turning on lamps.
- I started my Christmas wrapping! This year I set up all the paraphernalia in the guest room. It is such a mess. It literally looks like someone went in with a leaf blower and went hog wild. There is paper and tape and scissors and ribbon everywhere, but I put a note on the door that said Santa’s Workshop, Do Not Enter and I can go in and wrap a few gifts, leave the mess exactly as-is, and close the door.

- A few weeks ago I met up with a friend and we ended up discussing books (as one does); she was interested in my reviews and I had to laugh when she sent me her current book stack. The titles look very familiar 😉
- Two hours home alone. Everything aligned for me to be home alone for TWO hours on Wednesday evening (John was taking Indy to soccer and I asked my dad to drive Belle to a youth event so I only had to go pick her up at the end, but then the roads were a bit dicey so John ended up going to get her and I DIDN’T HAVE TO LEAVE THE HOUSE AFTER DARK which is balm to my soul). Nothing resets my mood and my overall emotional equilibrium like being alone for a few hours.
- I love when there’s the perfect amount of yogurt left in the container so I can add in my pumpkin seeds, slivered almonds, chia seeds, and raisins and mix it all together IN the yogurt container. It saves washing a bowl and always makes me feel so happy to have the perfect amount. My family things I am very high maintenance with my add-ins, but it’s so delicious!
And that’s a wrap. It’s been another busy full week, BUT after today things should start to calm down a bit. We had more birthday parties and appointments this week, nights out, days off. I led Bible study last night (after taking a kid to a party, going to an appointment, picking the kid up from the party, and taking that same kid to an appointment)…but next week is looking surprisingly open and I am very excited!
John and I are off to Halifax for a date-night supper tonight. As much as we love, love, love our at-home date nights each weekend, every once in a while it’s fun to eat out together. Mom and Dad will host the kids and we get to play hooky for a few hours.
Happy weekending, friends <3
Your turn.
- What was the highlight of your week?
- When’s the last time you went to a restaurant?
- Who else dreads taxes?
- Will you eat the end of a food item right from its dish, or do you always decant onto a plate or into a bowl?

Sounds like and overall wonderful week!
Some happy things here:
1. My father in laws birthday, so nice to have him close so we can celebrate together
2. M y daughters friend co.ing to visit for over a week
3. Beautiful cozy lights
4. Plenty of work for my husband
5. Some nice finds for my reselling business
Thanks for sharing your Happy Things, Katy!
Hooray for being close to family and for enjoying celebrations together. And I am HERE for all the cozy lights <3
I know the pleasures of eating the last serving straight from the dish! I don’t know why it’s so satisfying, but it is.
You really do have it made with being close to the big city but not having to live in the big city. Have fun on date night tonight!
I had to laugh at your friend’s book stack. That’s some serious compatibility!
Ugh taxes. There’s really nothing that complicated about our return, but I always dread it.
It feels slightly rebellious and uncouth to eat out of the container and I love it 🙂
I’m glad to know someone else is dreading taxes, too. It never ends up being a big deal but I guess I live in fear of it someday being a big deal, our getting audited. I have nothing to hide BUT THE LOGISTICS of an audit, for example, fill me with horror.
That is the hugest live nativity I’ve ever seen! What fun to be a participant. I would have LOVED to hold Willie Nelson. He looks sooooo soft! I’ve never heard of squash bread, but it sounds delicious! I’ve also never heard of putting pickles in a lettuce salad, but it doesn’t sound bad!
My highlight was the Chris Tomlin concert we attended last night. We go to a restaurant every weekend, including tonight. I always dread tax season and this year, I’ll have to deal with both my mom’s personal taxes and the trust taxes, but at least an accountant will be doing the figuring and it will be the last year for all of that. And yes, I always dump my berries and flax seed right into the cottage cheese container when it’s the last serving.
Willie Nelson was the sweetest thing I’ve ever set eyes on. So fluffy and SO docile.
I love pickles in salad. The tang and crunch combo is yummy.
Your comment is reminding me that I ran out of cottage cheese this week and MUST get to the store today to stock up.
That concert sounds great. I’ve been listening to some Chris Tomlin Christmas music lately.
I love all the books our blogger friends are writing and publishing!
candles. I love them but don’t like the lighting part. I have electric candles now 😉
Real candles can be a lot of work, expense and mess. Plus, they are inherently a fire hazard. That said, there’s something extra magical about a real flame so that’s why I keep coming back to using them!
Thank you so much for the shout-out, my friend. xoxoxo I am so excited for my book to come out into the world. It was just so fun to write.
So many wonderful things in this post! This just made my morning, as I sit here with my coffee getting ready to start my yoga practice. Rob put up all the outdoor Christmas decorations and he did SUCH a great job. He hung a big red ball on our sad-looking heart tree, and as he was doing that I was looking out the window. I ran outside and asked him if he made me a Charlie Brown tree AND HE DID. He also put our light-up gnome under it. Acts of service! It’s our love language. Anyway, as he does every year, he put the timer on so that the lights come on not only in the late afternoon, but also at 4:30 in the morning so I can see them while I do yoga. Isn’t that nice?
Today I’m hosting the girls for a holiday lunch and I have almost everything prepped! I just have to roast the sweet potatoes, lentils, and quinoa for the salad, but otherwise everything is pretty much good to go. I also have prosecco! Feels festive.
I’m excited for you and “proud to know you” as my mom would say <3
My heart is so happy about your outdoor light situation. That is so sweet of Rob and must be such a delight for you in the morning.
Ohhhhh. That holiday menu sounds delish!
Ooh, I love the advent candles! I didn’t even know there was such a thing. And- you’ve started your wrapping! I wish I had a room that I could dedicate to wrapping supplies. I have to get everything out and then put it away again each time, so i just end up having one or two big wrapping sessions later in the month.
It looks very Christmas-y where you are. It’s going to be 85 degrees here today. While I don’t miss the cold, 85 is a little warm for December! I’m hoping some of the cold air up north makes its way down to us soon.
I’m also excited about all the books coming out! Oh, and speaking of eating things right out of the container- when you get down to the end of peanut butter, it’s fun to add your hot oatmeal to the jar and eat it. I kind of forgot about that hack but it’s a good one. You’ll really clean out the last bits of peanut butter that way.
Hope you enjoy your date!
This is my first year using the guest room for wrapping and I’m wondering why I haven’t always done this. Though it keeps looking worse and worse. It’s a fairly large room and it is literally covered. Eeks. I have two weeks before company arrives, so I MUST get all my wrapping done before then, or at least pack it all up.
It has been windy, cold, snowy, and icy here this week so I will take your 85F!!!
Love the PB hack!
Your church sounds so cool – a live nativity + pickleball? Wow! That candle is amazing – do you blow it out after a certain amount of time each day? I fear my type A ways would make me a little crazy over it 🙂 Happy Advent!
It is a very wonderful, vibrant church full of varied interests 😉
Yes, I blow it out after it burns down to the appropriate day. I’m not too anal about those sorts of things so it works for me and I won’t be fussed if I have to burn a double day at some point. But so far, Indy is on top of it. He LOVES candles and is the official candle lighter in our household.
Oh, the admin around taxes can be so daunting – but getting everything ready to pay the instalment and THEN discovering that it’s 4’000 dollars LESS?!! NICE!!
Those loose ends will fall into place. I find the hardest part is staring at the half-finished bits on my computer. Once I dive in, it’s always the same: the whole thing usually unravels much faster than I expect.
I phoned the tax office this week and was a bit anxious about because usually they are never late. I thought that I had missed something somewhere. Well, turns out, that this time THEY are behind their work. It’s nice to be waiting on them, for once!
Have a lovely weekend, Elisabeth!
It did require a call to the revenue agency, but it was a great “payday” of sorts, discovering we owed less than was expected!
My brother and I had birthday candles that we burned every year to get down to the year 18. I’ve never seen them since, but I love the Advent candle idea, which is very similar!
DH always eats the last of the yogurt right from the container. I don’t like to, because the containers are so large and my spoon handle gets messy! I’m fussy that way. I’ll use a spatula to get it all out. BUT if I have salad greens in a plastic clamshell, and it’s half gone, I will absolutely put the rest of my salad stuff in there and eat straight from the container to avoid washing a bowl.
The highlight of my week has to be the two days I spent in clinical practice for my nurse aide training course. The first four weeks we practiced on manikins (making occupied beds, giving bed baths, helping with feeding meals, that sort of thing), but then for two days this week we were dropped into the deep end to work on the memory care unit in a long-term care facility. To say I was anxious was an understatement. The residents were wonderful–it helped that they were used to students at this facility–and I enjoyed my time there immensely. At no time–even in the messiest tasks–did I wish I didn’t have to be there, and when I came home on Monday I couldn’t wait to go back on Wednesday. What a gift it was to learn how to care for people who truly need it. I’m babbling on about this to anybody who asks because I just had a great time. I was tired at the end of the day but it was a good, fulfilled tired!
I’ve never heard of birthday candles like that; what a delight!!!!
Do you have sundae spoons? They are a MUST in my household. They have the extra long handles and I love, love, love them!
Interestingly, I never, ever finish eating greens out of the clamshell. Why not? This is brilliant.
I think you read Kristen’s blog, right? At The Frugal Girl? Your experience in nursing seems to so closely match her own. The satisfaction of doing an important job well is so wonderful. I loved hearing all about this. What a highlight!
Okay, I have never seen an advent calendar, but I absolutely want one now. I’m making a note in my calendar for next October to search for one!
Aren’t they the coolest!!!!
The Nativity looks wonderful and what a great event! Willie Nelson is ever so cute and Gertie too!
I hope the friend of your kids is making a speedy recovery.
The pickleball sounds like fun and so does the snow day.
Pickleball seems to be all the rage lately and now I can finally say I have a tiny bit of knowledge about what the hype’s about.
Happy thing was driving home from my daughter’s sleep study at 6 am – the full moon in the dark sky before me , shining on the snowy fields, with the sun rising behind me in the review mirror.
I don’t think I’ve eaten in a restaurant in ages – oh, I did take my husband out to Chipotle for his birthday – as a gift from my oldest son – but I didn’t eat. And the last place I actually ate was probably McDonalds. So no fine cuisine here.
Of course I’d eat the food right out of the dish – that save on washing dishes!
What a lovely week – so glad you’re having fun with your family!
It was a supermoon and it WAS gorgeous this week.
That snowman looks great! I’d love a good snow deep enough to make a snowman – or maybe a snow chicken, lol 🙂
I finished off the remains of Thanksgiving’s chocolate cobbler straight from the baking dish, to Mr’s supreme amusement.
Last restaurant: met a girlfriend for lunch at the “fancy” little bistro/bakery/whatever it is a few weeks ago, and it was just warm enough that we were able to eat outside on the patio in the sun. Bliss! I think outside dining days are over for a while.
It is well below freezing here so outdoor dining is months away again. SOB
Yum. Chocolate cobbler sounds delicious!
I’m in Sweden and of course we have an advent candle!
I am oh-so-glad I can bring a bit of Scandinavian charm into my dreary, cold Canadian winter nights! It’s been delightful to light it each day.
What a wonderful week of happy things. You’re so inspiring, finding all these happy things every week. I mentioned that I’d like to pick up this weekly habit, but I feel that most of my weeks are so mundane that there is nothing special to report …
I definitely eat the rest of a food out of its container esp. yogurt to save a “dirty dish”. It’s like the frugal thing to do 🙂
It does seem frugal; I guess those habits run deep 🙂
Life can feel very predictable at times. I guess in mundane weeks it’s the little things that bring us joy? Like coffee! We always have coffee, right??
The live nativity is so cool!
Happy things this week included:
– The snowstorm being a perfect amount of snow. Enough for the kids to sled and have fun in, but not an overwhelming amount that they can’t even really walk in. Plus, it stuck so beautifully to the trees.
– A birthday lunch sans kids with a dear friend. Our birthdays are two days apart and were this week.
– A birthday lunch sans kids with my husband. Can’t remember the last time I ate in a restaurant and I ate in one twice this week?!?
Awww. I am so glad you got to have these special lunches (Happy Birthday, by the way!!!!). There is something very special about going out to eat when it’s not a common occurrence. It really does feel like an event. And you are in a very hands-on stage of parenting where meal times are NOT relaxing, so being served food you didn’t have to prepare, having uninterrupted conversation and eating time, and not having to clean up at the end all sounds wonderful.
We had a delayed start to school yesterday and the roads were very messy where we live, but the kids (especially Indy) have loved seeing some of the white stuff!
Happy indeed! Like you, I am very optimistic about the snow right now. It’s so pretty and calm! Ask me how I feel in APRIL tho.
Right??? We’re supposed to get another storm on Monday and I’m frantically Googling if it’s before school starts because I had work plans for Monday and I am NOT ready for another snow day.
Willie Nelson and Gertie—-so darn cute!!
I love the live nativity and the fact that so much money was raised: Hallelujah!
Pickleball is all the rage in Florida, so it’s fun to see it’s all the way up THERE too!
I love the Advent candle; how fun is that?
I’m excited for all the bloggers’ books and wish them loads and loads of success.
It’s such a delight to cheer along friends in their new ventures. Plus, I love reading books so I win, too <3
My life would be complete if Gertie would come and live with me, and tap tap tap her little cloven hoofs around my townhouse. She would charm the neighbors for sure. I love your advent candles, I haven’t heard of that before, they’re lovely.
We went to a restaurant last night and had a lovely meal, though the kitchen was SLAMMED and it took almost an hour before we got our food. The staff was very apologetic and comped our appetizer and salad, which was nice of them.
Isn’t Gertie the cutest???
The one thing that really makes up a disappointing wait time for me is getting comped for part of the meal. I consider it an excellent trade-off. And it sounds like the food was great, so hopefully that hour of waiting was spent in pleasant conversation <3
LOL, yes, Ted joked to the waiter when she came to apologize (again), ‘It’s a good thing we like each other!’
<3
Give me that bunny!!!!!!
I am pretty much surviving over here. I want a cleaner, I need a cleaner, but I just won’t hire anyone. Why am I so stubborn? Why am I so cheap? Having a cleaner come every two weeks would take a lot off my plate (I have very high expectations of my space). Help me to get over my mental obstacle that it’s okay to hire someone to help me. Especially that Tony is travelling again for the next week, and I’ll be solo parenting…
HIRE THE CLEANER. Seriously. (I also just sent you a little e-mail nudging you on.)
I hope you had a wonderful date night!
Willie Nelson is adorable and looks so soft!
I love the idea of wrapping gifts in the guest room and being able to close the door. Very smart!
I am just about to settle in and read your gift guide and I am so excited!!!!
Willie Nelson feels like Leo in bunny form; they are just too darn cute!
I love these happy things posts, Elisabeth. Lots of happy in your world this week 🙂 The live nativity looks amazing, would sure have liked to have gone to that! Thanks for including Chester on your list 🙂
I love the photo of Belle on the floor. My eldest never used the desk in her bedroom; she always did homework on her floor. On Friday afternoon, she came over and needed to finish off a bit of work, and I found her set up on our living room floor. Things have not changed. I love the thought of an Advent Candle, but it is light here until 9 pm at the moment, so you kind of lose the effect. The last time I went to a restaurant was on Thursday night with my parents for my birthday, and before that was Thursday lunch for our work Christmas party. It was a lot! I had to pace myself.
She loves to “set up shop” and I think she also likes the distraction; there is a general hum of activity around her and I think that makes her feel more settled than being off on her own in a room.
It is dark EARLY here these days (we’re almost to the longest day) so I can light candles fairly early in the day and it fits the ambience.
I love it when I can finish something in its container, like cottage cheese! It’s so nice to not dirty a dish. I don’t need an aesthetic experience at home!
This past week was way too packed. It was mostly fun stuff but too much fun stuff for one week and I am exhausted. I ate in restaurants 4 times!! That is too much but the food was all good, especially our date night last night! Coming home to a quiet house with kids asleep was the best part!!
Ugh taxes. We always have to pay extra even though we claim no allowances on our W2s. So Phil forgoes a paycheck in December and has the whole thing go to taxes. It’s a drag but we live in a great state with wonderful parks and library and strong schools and paying taxes is why our community is so great. So I try to focus on that!
You had A LOT on your plate this week. I can see why you were exhausted. It’s also a lot of expectations to manage with a kid celebrating a birthday. Phew. I’m glad it’s behind you and hope this week is restorative.
Taxes are so important and I know that intellectually, but it still isn’t fun to spend all that money.
So much to cover here. I did laugh at how pessimism is listed in your blog title and you assumed the worst when he said I’ll explain. Hooray for an out and about date night. Sometimes it’s fun to get out of the house. I did once love snow days when the kids would play outside all day and we’d have hot chocolate and just chill. (not it means I don’t get paid, because teachers are home – still a nice change of pace). I am so hoping we don’t have a snow day before Christmas – we’re flying a niece and nephew in from SC to surprise Curly for her 18th bday and if there’s a snow day, it’ll push final exams back a day and she’ll have to go to school while they’re here. Best thing in my week: I finished my annual Christmas poem – earliest ever. Phew. Lots more to do, because of course I’m way behind.
We are currently having our SECOND snow day. But it is actually snowing a lot and it’s all very white and beautiful, so I’m trying not to feel too bitter about it. Plus, the kids are happy.
That is such a fun surprise for Curly!!!!! Fingers crossed there is NO snow day <3
What a beautiful winter weekend! Sounds like you had your hands full, hopefully things can slow down a bit this next week. I’m busy getting my house all ready for Christmas hosting, but I can’t say I don’t enjoy it. Merry Christmas!
I love that advent candle! I need to look for one of those next year. That’s a great way to celebrate the season!
Since I am someone who can spiral from a simple text message or my mom not answering her phone, I GET IT. I would have done the same with a text message like that!
Taxes are fairly straightforward for me since I’m employed full-time and don’t make enough money for it to be a headache (HA). I usually don’t owe or owe such a small amount that it’s not too bad.
I feel so seen. It was such a short message but my mind instantly went to WORST (or at least bad) CASE SCENARIO!
