I promised giveaways this month and it’s time to deliver! Buckle up for the first round.
I haven’t hosted a giveaway since Easter and decided it was time for some lucky readers to receive fun packages in the mail. Come back each Saturday this month for more chances to win.
I’ve been using Sprouted* planners for three years now – the 2025 planner is my fourth – and I am not exaggerating when I say that at this point my planner is practically an extension of my body. It goes everywhere with me (just ask my husband and kids). It’s my version of a security blanket or special stuffie.
*Heather graciously offered to send me two free planners; one to keep and one to give away to a lucky reader! I don’t have any other affiliation with the Sprouted brand, I just use it and love it; if you choose to buy a Sprouted planner, I won’t receive any kickbacks 🙂 I believe you can use the code AMANDASFAVORITES to get 15% any order. She has a great overview video of the 2025 Sprouted planners as well!
I track habits and moods, I schedule appointments and extracurriculars, I record birthdays and (TMI alert) menstrual cycles. I take notes and make lists and brainstorm blog ideas. Basically, I manage my life – and a good portion of my family’s lives – in my planner.
In 2024, I’ve even used it to keep a monthly record of my reflections on living a Year of Shmita.
Planners are highly personal; they take on their own/our identity and I realize they are not one-size-fits-all. Before you enter the giveaway, I encourage you to take a look at the layouts of the planner on Heather’s site – here is the Weekly Planner in Blue Lagoon – to see if it will fit your planning style and needs. If not, maybe you have a friend or family member you know this would be “just perfect” for.
While the format has changed a bit this year – I happen to love all the updates – you can get a very good sense of layout and structure from my 2023 planner. I know I enjoy seeing how people use their planner so here it is, messy scribbles and all (along with some redacted identifiers for privacy reasons!).
Over the last few weeks I have loved setting up my 2025 planner, playing around with new systems and scheduling techniques. And all the heart eyes for the addition of a moveable ruler and stencil!
HOW TO ENTER + OTHER DETAILS
Here’s how the giveaway will work. If you’re interested in receiving this planner (Heather has daily and monthly planners, but I use her weekly planner, so that’s what I’m giving away; aside from the cover – I have the pink peony version, but thought teal would fit a broader range of aesthetics – whoever receives this planner will be twinning with me), leave a comment on this post telling me:
- your favourite day of the week and, if you’re so inclined, explain why you prefer this day over all the others
Next Wednesday (13 November), I will close the comments on this post and will use a random number generator to select the “winning” comment and will e-mail that reader to get their mailing address. I’ll announce the winner next Saturday (in time for another giveaway), and will get this sent out to the lucky recipient in short order. The planner also comes with some adorable mini bookmarks that can be moved around as needed within your new planner!
This giveaway is open to everyone. I will mail things internationally!
Thanks again to Heather and her team for so graciously sharing this planner for a giveaway! I know there will be some readers very eager to win this planner so, if for some reason you don’t think you’ll actually use the planner, please hold off commenting today and come back next week for a different giveaway <3
Your turn. What’s your favourite day of the week? My favourite day is probably Sunday (though my absolute favourite “time” of the week is Friday evening).

Yeah for give-aways. Good luck everyone.
I am not entering as I am working for a stationary company and have about 5 planers in my home already.
But I wanted to say that I do love the spread. It would be working for my personal life I think. Not so much for the work life.
I think my favorite day is Sunday closely followed by Saturday. I just love having hours in the morning for my self to read and write and blog and do yoga or go for a walk. The husband sleeps till noon on weekends so I have so much time to myself with no worries. I know I am a rare breed.

Oh, how fun! My favorite day of the week is Sunday. It’s usually a rest day, and it’s also the day I visit my parents. My parents live close, so I often see them on other days of the week, but Sunday is a dedicated visit.

My favourite day of the week is Monday. It’s when I have the house to myself again and can get on with my art.
McKenzie
I am perhaps very weird in that I love Mondays. I have a lot of get stuff done energy I enjoy.
mbmom11
I like Thursdays. For work, Thursday is my light day, and I leave late, get home early, and get stuff done. Or sit on the couch and read a book.
Kyria @ Travel Spot
I also love Mondays, as it is now the day that everyone is back at work and school and I can have the paths, roads and stores to myself! I also love this planner and know that my friend K will too so I am entering so I can give it to her. Is that wrong? If it is, you can take me out of the running. I want this planner for myself but I will not be able to carry it around next year, so…. 🙁
Elisabeth
That is not wrong; just the opposite as I think it’s a lovely sentiment! Good luck for, er, K’s sake 😉
Katie
I’m not entering even though I want to, because I *know* I would not use this planner even though I love all things paper. I just want to say I love that you love it and I love that you’re doing another giveaway!!

My favorite day is Tuesday. I am recently retired, and I set aside “Travel Tuesday” to plan our next great adventure. It has paid off- we managed to take a trip around the world this year! Airline miles and hotel points are your friends! We are currently hosting a 22 year old family friend from Japan through next week. In the new year, I’m hoping to delve more into learning about cultures other than our own, particularly in light of recent events. Please let us know if US residents can participate in the giveaway (or can send you funds to cover postage if needed).
Elisabeth
I’m so sorry Beth – I should have thought to include information about shipping in the giveaway post. Yes! Residents of the US (and any country) are welcome to enter. I will ship internationally.
Happy retirement; I love that you’re using it to explore the world.

My favorite day of the week is Saturday, which we celebrate as our Sabbath. Second favorite is any day I get to ride my bike to the library.
Maxine
Thank you for the giveaway opportunity! I am currently looking for a new planner! My favorite day of the week is Friday. I feel like it has the most potential and Friday afternoon/evenings are so relaxing. Thanks again!
Kathy Wolfe
I enjoy Sunday the most.
Alexandra
Oh, how wonderful. I love a good giveaway, and this one looks amazing. As a stationery lover I already have my agenda for next year, but good luck to everyone else taking part.
Elinoora
I love the look of the planner. I haven’t figured out yet what my 2025 planet should look like – but I think this would work well for me.
I love my Wednesdays. I don’t work work, the youngest is half a day at school, I get time to myself… The only thing that would make it better is not having to get up to bring her to school.
Kathleen
I do like Mondays. I feel like I have an entire day to prepare for it (pack lunch etc.) and am not as tired as I am towards the end of the week.
iHanna
My favourite day to plan and do most chores is “tomorrow”, it’s an excellent day for many big plans I have & also it’s when everything suddenly will be better… 🙂
Teal and pink are my favourite colors and I love planners and stationary and notebooks and.. 🙂
Thanks.

As long as I’m still working the M-F thing, Saturdays will remain my favorite day. Can generally sleep in a bit, have fun plans or errands or nothing at all, and go to bed knowing that I will still have Sunday off!
sustainablemum
My favourite day is Monday, I love the start to a new week and all that it might bring. It always feels like a new start whatever is going on in my life.
The planner looks wonderful but I already have one for 2025 so I will decline your generous offer and let someone who needs one have an opportunity to own it.
Joy
So fun! I love seeing your used planner pages – so satisfying to see something used to its fulleat potential!
My favorite days are Monday and Friday – Monday because we get back into routine after a weekend of everybody home and I don’t have scheduled out of the house commitments during the school hours on Monday. Friday is a favorite almost exclusively because I truly relish my Friday planning time a la Laura Vanderkam!
Jenny
Saturday! I work from 9-1, but when that’s done I can come home and relax, knowing I have all the rest of the day and the next day off.
I’ve been looking for a planner and can’t find one I like. I think Sprouted would fit my needs- I’ll wait till next week to see if I win yours (!!!) but after that I’ll probably order one.
Central Calif Artist Jana
Thursdays please me. The hard things happen on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and on Thursday I can just work uninterrupted, knowing I will also have Friday. (I love teal!)
NGS
I don’t want to actually enter the contest because I know this journal doesn’t fit my needs. However, I feel it’s imperative for me to tell you that my favorite day of the week is Saturday and I’m absolutely befuddled by (working) people who say anything else. Monday through Friday are work days and there’s hardly any time for fun and Sunday is terrible because I’m trying to do random chores around the house like laundry and cleaning and Saturday is PEAK FUN DAY. That’s all.
Elisabeth
Thanks for chiming in, Engie. It was definitely imperative!
Katie
My favorite day of the week is Friday… it holds so much promise for the weekend!
Molly F.C.
My favorite day is Saturday because the weekend lies ahead. I love Saturday mornings. I make breakfast, read the paper, and relish the time to putter at a leisurely pace.
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

I love Wednesdays! I find that I am in the zone better during the week and hopefully am more than halfway through my “to do” list by then. I am also a Morning person.
Katy
I love planners! Currently I’m using a bullet journal, but I do like planners that come with the calendar already in for me, so I don’t have to draw them in myself.
My favorite day of the week is either Friday or Monday. I love finishing the week’s homeschooling, popping an insane amount of popcorn and watching a movie as a family on Fridays. But I also love Mondays, because they feel like a fresh start.
Sam
My favorite day of the week is Friday. We do shabbat most Friday nights, and I like the ritual of a cozy family dinner, lighting candles and transitioning into a more restful time. I also have been trying to take my youngest on my nature walks with friends on Fridays, and that’s been fun!
Sabine
While I am not sure, I think my favourite day of the week is either Thursday (uninterupted time, mainly to work) or Friday (I do not work on Fridays and this is my “weekend” – although I often have to clean or errands to run, I can also allow myself some time to just rest, take a walk or do nothing).
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity. I am looking for a format like (and currently a bit unhappy with my planning situation).
Elizabeth
My favorite day of the week is Sunday.
Mary Beth
I like Fridays.

First time commenting – I found you from your Meet A Reader post on The Frugal Girl.
I could make a case for almost any day of the week being my favourite, but I think Wednesday wins.
It’s half way through the week, so only a couple of days to the weekend; my work day is generally a light load and I have a couple of hours out in the evening at a Crochet and Craft group where I catch up with my sister.
H13
Saturday is my favorite day. I get to do my long run, take a nap, and go to bed that night knowing that I don’t have to set an alarm for the next morning!
Stephany
My favorite day of the week is Friday! It’s the start of the weekend and I usually stop working in the early afternoon and take a very relaxing nap.
Sarah
Another Monday lover over here! I work all day on campus and really set future me up for success 🙂
JD
Sunday! A day to go to mass, reflect, be with family, cook and rest.
San
Yay, I am definitely throwing my hat in the ring for a new planner (I haven’t even thought about 2025 yet, but it’s coming up really quick!). I know you’ve been raving about the Sprouted Planner and I have been eyeing it myself before. I think it could work great for me.
My favorite day of the week right now is Fridays. I don’t work (most) Fridays but I still get up early, get my workout done and then have the whole day ahead of me 🙂
Jessica
Excited for a giveaway and a PLANNER! I love planners!
My favorite day of the week is Friday. I usually only work until about noon and then have a few hours to myself before the kids come home from school. I also like the anticipation of the weekend and Friday nights are usually pizza and a movie or some sort of tv viewing with the family.
Sarah
i love sundays for so many reasons… sabbath rest, church, family time, and i usually cook a yummy meal and have a relaxing afternoon 🙂
